Rudi at the Summer Royal 2012We headed down to the Summer Royal minus our key strapper, Vicki, but with good showing weather forecast and with Jeff armed to be the stable cleaner, videographer and all round clean up guy.
Rudi settled in well to a stable right next to the manure pile and never missed a beat with his appetite or water drinking. A family emergency meant a change of judges in the Warmblood ring. Even though he is 16hh, Rudi looks small in the Warmblood led class although he still placed 3rd. He was 2nd in the saddle class, got the opportunity to challenge for reserve and won the title of Reserve Champion Redden Warmblood.
Melbourne Royal also hosted a qualifying event for the 2013 Grand Nationals and we were very excited to be awarded Reserve Champion Show Hunter Hack and qualify for the National in 201
