2010/2011 Competition Season
The 2010/2011 competition season was a very successful one for our one and only competition horse this year, Bindara Nureyev. (Contenda (imp) X Waterview Park Mariana) Rudi started his dressage career at Tatura in late August and never looked back, placing at every EFA start and winning many HRCAV competitions. He qualified for the 4 year old class at Dressage with the Stars although he did not compete in March due to my work commitments.
Rudi also proved to be a pretty good show horse starting at the HRCAV Show Horse titles in January 2011 and coming home with the highpoint award after being awarded Champion Saddle horse in Level 3 and carrying me to Reserve Champion rider in Level 2.
For old time sake, Vicki and I headed off to do a show circuit in May - something we haven't done in decades but it was a lot of fun. Rudi coped very well with the atmosphere at Agricultural Shows and came home a multi- champion show hunter hack.
